The 10th Hinckley Beer Festival

The major Leicestershire beer festival returns in September.

This year the festival is more special than usual, as it is 300 years since the birth of William Bass, whose family brewed beer in Hinckley and also ran or owned pubs in the town. This year, the festival theme is commemorating the Three Brewers (Bass, Butler & Worthington) in conjunction with the Hinckley & District Museum.

A good line up is in the offing, with 70 Real Ales, including “Heritage Brewers” specials, North Yorkshire Ales & LocAles, plus 20 Real Ciders, Perries & Fruit Wines.

Food will be available on all sessions, and live music on Friday and Saturday evening.

The special guests at this year’s opening ceremony will be CAMRA Chief Executive Officer Tim Page, and Master Brewer Steve Wellington.

The festival runs from Thursday September 14th to Saturday September 16th 2017.
