The Peterboat Real Ale Festival 2016

The Peterboat at Leigh on Sea has announced the dates for its next real ale festival: Thursday 29th September to Monday 3rd October.

This festival promises much for real ale fans with up to 40 cask ales from various suppliers, with local breweries favoured where possible.

As well as ales there will be hand crafted ciders and exciting craft beers. The pub promotes quality products; “Here at the Peterboat we are passionate about our beer and have invested a lot of time training staff on how to store, condition and serve the best quality real ales available. Our real ales have become so popular we can now offer up to fourteen different guest ales per week with a minimum of five different ales available at any time. Our ales come from all over the country and we are always happy to promote new and exciting beers alongside the more popular brands.” Mark Skinner, General Manager.

From Thursday to Sunday the festival will be entertained by local live music, and a marquee will be erected in the car park to make this the largest ale festival East Anglia Pub Company has ever held. With ale festivals held bi-annually they plan to go further and by next spring aim to be offering over 100 ales in their fourth festival.

The Peterboat is located at 27 High St, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 2EN.
