Three day rail ale festival for Leicestershire in July.
From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd July, train and ale enthusiasts can enjoy both at the same time courtesy of the Rail Ale Festival on the Battlefield Line. The event offers:
- 80 Real Ales,
- over 30 Ciders & Perries,
- Fruit Wines & Pimms bar too!
- Plus beers and ciders on the trains.
Dr. Busker will perform on Friday & Saturday evenings from 8pm. Natalie Nightingale will be performing Saturday afternoon (4pm-6pm) & Sunday lunch (12pm-2pm).
ENTRY FEE: Friday July 21st – £1 before 6pm, £5 after 6pm. All day Saturday & Sunday – £5. Card carrying CAMRA members FREE admission at all times.
The festival takes place at the Battlefield Line, Market Bosworth Railway Station, Market Bosworth, Leicestershire CV13 0PF.
This year there will be more steam & diesel locos, plus Traction Engines, Road Rollers and Steam Lorries. Morris Dancers (Sunday afternoon), Childrens entertainment, Hot & Cold Food. Families & Children Welcome.
