Essex ale fans get Whitsun weekend fest.
Southend Rugby Football Club will host a charity beer festival at the late May bank holiday weekend. All profits from ticket sales and bar going to Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
The festival will run on Friday 25th May and Saturday 26th May, with opening hours 6pm to 11pm.
The event offers 20 fine ales at £3 per pint, a Craft Gin bar with singles at £4 and doubles at £7, and also a Gin / Prosecco cocktail at £5.
Both nights there will be a hog roast and BBQ at reasonable prices.
There will be music both nights with an Abba Tribute Band on Friday and Mervin Wright’s Big Band on the Saturday.
