It’s so much more than just motorcycles. A fine example is the Festival’s ‘Brews and Blues’, just one of Bike Fest’s ‘event within an event’. A huge marquee features over 20 regional and craft beers and ciders at £3 a pint, plus a fabulous line up of live bands in the Orchard covering Blues, Rock and Rockabilly.
Saturday line-up includes: Bob Bowles, Swindon’s acclaimed rock and blues guitarist, Poplar Jake and The Electric Delta Review bring back the traditional Blues, plus Barrelhouse, blues as it should be. Josie and the Outlaw provide high octane rockabilly to add to the mix and Nick Baker and Friends play their acoustic set in the evening.
Sunday line-up includes Glynn Ashton, the Streamliner Blues Band, The Excellos and Crossfire take to the stage. Blues at its best.
Blues and Brews is part of the Prescott Bike (plus EV) Festival and aside from the incredible machinery on display and on the track, the Festival also offers a stellar line-up of entertainment to keep the whole family entertained. On the Saturday there’s also ‘Gin & Jazz’ in the Clubhouse – 50 regional gins plus legendary jazz vocalist Tina May, considered as one of the finest jazz vocalist’s in the UK, performing throughout the day with supporting acts. Throughout the weekend there’s non-stop live music, special guest appearances, a large kids zone, over 100 quality trade stands, clubs, a beer tent, the Blood Bike Village and great food. You can even grab yourself a bargain or maybe treat yourself to a new bike from one of the dealers or manufacturers represented including Brough Superior, Energica, Harley Davidson, Ducati, Triumph, Honda and MV Augusta.
As ever at Bike Fest, there will be extensive displays of historic, modern and racing motorcycles throughout the weekend with a Paddock Specials Show ‘n’ Tell spot featuring the best in road, race, factory builds, shed builds, wacky, jet powered and record beating machines. Literally everything from a 1928 Douglas SW through to a 2017 Norton Commando and everything in between. You can chat away to the owners and bike builders on the Saturday and watch them take to the hill on the Sunday.
You can access everything at Bike Fest from just £10 and under 16’s go free. What’s more all proceeds go to the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes and regional Blood Bike group Severn Freewheelers.
