North Leeds Charity Beer Festival 2022

WE’RE BACK! – A very warm welcome to you to the 10th Annual North Leeds Charity Beer Festival, after an unintended break of two years due to the pandemic.

The Festival is run for the Rotary Club of Roundhay and in addition to celebrating our 10th Festival the Rotary Club celebrates its 60th anniversary this year so we are celebrating these two events.

Once again we are presenting a good selection of locally brewed beers, along with our popular Gin and Prosecco Bar and our bar staff look forward to serving you some delicious brews. We are following all guidelines for hosting the event during the threat of Covid.

A great programme of music, from jazz to hard rock is being showcased by a number of local bands for your enjoyment.

Over the years we have served 8,500 discerning drinkers with over 50,000 glasses of beer and have staged 110 performances by local bands and artistes with over 420 musicians involved. These efforts have enabled us to donate over £50,000, the entire proceeds to local, national and international charities. The local charities to benefit include John Jamieson School, Cash for Kids, CATCH Harehills, St Gemma’s and Roundhay Stroke Club.

The event is run on an entirely voluntary basis and we thank all volunteers, whether it be serving beer, dishing up pie and peas, selling tokens or helping with the set up and break down of the event. A special thank you to Sam Parker for his work on organising the beers, and for personally tasting and approving each one!

We have fantastic support from our sponsors, our headline sponsors being Morley Glass and Glazing and Express in the Home, and all our individual barrel sponsors. Please give them your support. Thanks also to our hosts, North Leeds Cricket Club for the use of the premises.

Finally we thank you for your support in attending the festival and in helping us to help others within our community.

The Rotary Club of Roundhay will be featuring 32 cask ales from 8 local independent and microbreweries as well as gin, fizz & live music.
